Industry and Community Engagement
Industry and Community Engagement and Consultation
The industry and community engagement phase is a crucial element of the project to ensure the industry and communities have the opportunity to contribute to the strategy development. An extensive consultative programme, comprised of a series of interviews with key stakeholders and operators, local communities and an electronic survey of tourism operators which will provide invaluable insights and feedback which will help shape the development of the future strategy.
There will be 3 participative workshops in Leith / Newhaven, South Queensferry and Rosyth / Dunfermline for tourism businesses, local communities and key stakeholders. The workshops will be interactive facilitated workshops where we will look to share with the participants the key findings of the project and importantly to gather the views of the participants and identify business perspectives on the key issues and opportunities for Edinburgh as a cruise destination.
